The Reisman Family Foundation supports individuals and families facing medical hardship through direct assistance, essential services, and community support — made possible by generous donors and corporate partners
Our mission is to provide financial and practical assistance to individuals and families facing serious illness, helping relieve the emotional and economic burden during periods of medical hardship. We work directly with families and institutional partners to deliver timely, responsible support where it is needed most.
When serious illness disrupts daily life, individuals and families often need far more than medical care alone. The Reisman Family Foundation provides practical, emotional, and financial support designed to ease the burden during periods of medical hardship, allowing families to focus on healing and stability.
Our work centers on meeting urgent, real-world needs that frequently arise alongside illness. This includes direct financial assistance for essential expenses, transportation support for medical appointments, in-home help during hospitalization or recovery, and post-hospital companionship to reduce isolation and emotional strain. We also support hospital-based morale and entertainment programs that bring comfort and dignity to patients during difficult moments.
As the number of families seeking assistance continues to grow, the Foundation has expanded beyond monetary giving alone in order to responsibly increase its reach. By working with trusted partners and incorporating in-kind support where appropriate, we are able to reduce operational costs and direct more resources toward direct aid for families in need.
All programs are administered with care, discretion, and oversight, ensuring that support is delivered efficiently, ethically, and in alignment with the Foundation’s mission. Through a combination of direct services, financial assistance, and strategic partnerships, the Reisman Family Foundation helps families navigate some of life’s most challenging circumstances with greater stability and support.
Providing emergency financial assistance to individuals and families facing serious illness, covering living expenses.
Helping families get to and from medical appointments and hospitals so they can be with their loved ones.
Providing practical support such as cleaning, laundry, and household assistance during hospitalization or recovery.
Providing moments of relief and human connection during hospitalization.
Sending volunteers to provide companionship and emotional support during recovery at home.
Our work is made possible through a combination of individual financial contributions and strategic in-kind support from corporate partners.
As demand for assistance continues to grow, monetary donations alone are often insufficient to meet the volume and urgency of requests from families facing serious illness. To responsibly expand our impact, the Foundation partners with corporations to accept excess, overstock, discontinued, or otherwise underutilized goods that can be deployed directly or converted through approved channels into funding for our programs.
This approach allows us to:
All donated goods are reviewed for mission alignment and handled in accordance with strict compliance, transparency, and brand-protection standards. Proceeds generated through approved liquidation or transfer channels are used exclusively to support the Foundation’s charitable programs.
Through this model, corporate partners are able to create meaningful social impact while responsibly managing surplus inventory – and families in need receive timely, tangible support when it matters most.
